Main responsibilities:

deals with all technical solutions regarding: transmission components, sizing, verification of mechanical structures, mechanical handling in general, transport systems

collaborates with the Project Manager to define the engineering solutions for each individual project

collaborates with the sales department for special/customized solutions
-
collaborates with the Service department for after-sales solutions

is responsible for meeting the design deadlines assigned to him/her
Requirements:

degree in mechanical engineering or diploma as a mechanical expert

previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar role in mechanical companies is preferable

ability to use SolidWorks

good knowledge of English

We are looking for a MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR FOR PAINTING SYSTEMS (Service area).
Place of work:
TRANSFER WORKER: our systems are located in various countries around the world. Travel may last several months.
Main responsibilities:

Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of plant installers, through the team leaders, ensuring that they are assigned and complete tasks efficiently and safely. Ensure that the installation teams are suitable for the work to be carried out in terms of: competence, PPE and equipment.

Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with team leaders to plan work schedules, assign resources and schedule installation work based on project priorities and available materials.

Quality Control: Ensure that all installations meet quality standards, documents, and drawings issued by headquarters.

Management of materials: coordinate with the head office to verify the arrival of materials, their quality and completeness in order to guarantee compliance with the construction site planning. This also includes the management and optimal planning of handling/lifting equipment.

Communication: Communicate regularly with the client’s project manager to ensure clear and transparent communication on the status of projects and to anticipate/resolve any problems.

Monitoring of planning: Collaborate with the site manager to monitor and manage the planning of the budget allocated for installations, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and that projects remain within budget.

Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and develop solutions to mitigate these risks.
Requirements:

Excellent reading of technical drawings

Previous experience in supervising plant installations.

In-depth knowledge of safety practices and regulations relating to plant installation.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and motivate team members to achieve project objectives.

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

Technical high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related field preferred.
